The Social Construction of Family Roles in Migrant Worker Income Management to Build Family Economy

This paper aims to explain the social construction of family roles in migrant workers’ income management. Many worker families are unable manage their correctly. would affect community by giving negative stigma workers. research was conducted using a descriptive method with qualitative approach. The subjects were selected based on proportional sampling, namely people who live close workers, extended and leaders. results this study indicate that, reality, some couples can well, resulting workers that does not have meaningful impact family. findings contribute developing theory construction, where reality is result personal understanding, which used as shared understanding community. gives new families. limitation data only obtained from subject interview case observations field, so limitedly describe general. Future be finding investigating effect poor management increasing disharmony.
